Springfield Athletic Association membership is required per player per year to play any sport.

Springfield Athletic Association membership is open to Springfield School District residents only. 

Annual membership fees for the Springfield Athletic Association are used to support all programs and are required for participation on any intramural and/or travel team.

Players must be in Kindergarten or 1st Grade during the 2025/26 school year.

Players must provide their own stick. No other equipment is required as these are "soft" lacrosse skill clinics. We use soft foam rubber balls and there will be no stick or body checking.

Players must be registered for the Springfield Athletic Association annual membership fee.

Typically Veterans Memorial Park or Springfield High School.

The Jr. Laxers will typically meet four (4) to six (6) times in April and May.

The primary purpose of the Jr. Laxer's Clinic is to introduce the sport of lacrosse to our youngest boys and teach them the basic skills of lacrosse in a safe, fun, and non-competitive atmosphere (scooping, catching, throwing, and cradling).

Many coaching volunteers are needed to add hands-on instruction. Please consider volunteering, you'll be glad you did.

Players must be in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade during the 2025/26 school year.

Each player must provide her own women's lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard, cleats (optional), and water bottle.

Players must be registered for the Springfield Athletic Association annual membership fee.

The Intramural Program will meet once weekly on Saturdays between the end March through May.

The K-2 Clinic will teach the basic skills of women's lacrosse in a fun, non-competitive environment. We plan to rotate the girls through a variety of drills and activities throughout the clinic. We will focus on scooping, catching, throwing, and cradling.

While not guaranteed, teammate requests will be considered by each player requesting a similar coach. If you don't know a coach, please consider volunteering.

Players must be in 1st Grade through 4th Grade during the 2025/26 school year.

Each player must supply his own helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick, mouth guard, and protective cup. Goalie equipment will be provided. Contact Directors for used and or loaner gear options or with gear questions.

Players must be registered for the Springfield Athletic Association annual membership fee.

The first half of each session will be instructional; the second half of the session will be games (8 v 8, short field format). Boys in 3rd and 4th grade who are participating in the SEPYLA Travel Program are strongly encouraged to attend Intramurals.

Sabold Elementary School

The Intramural Program will meet once weekly on Saturday or Sundays, starting in mid-to-late March and ending in late May or early June.

The goals of the intramural program are to introduce the basic skills and concepts of lacrosse, develop sportsmanship, and teamwork and have fun! We achieve this by continuing to develop basic skills and concepts while in a full pads environment that is structured, safe, and appropriately competitive. Each week, the coaches will take the kids through a series of fast paced skill development drills including cradling, shooting, passing, dodging, ground balls, and switching hands.

Many coaching volunteers are needed to give the boys adequate hands-on instruction. No prior experience needed. Please consider volunteering, you'll be glad you did.
