Season Dates
Tryouts typically take place in April and the season runs through June.
Season Expectations
Player evaluations will be held to determine where girls are best suited to play. The goal is to place them into a league that will challenge them, but allow them to succeed and enjoy played softball. The rules, uniforms, fields, and training opportunities are the same for both leagues.
Teams will practice at the coach's/team's availability and may include field practices and/or batting cage sessions.
Tournament Information
Babe Ruth league players will be eligible to play in District and State Tournaments. Being that we have a small pool of players in Babe Ruth divisions there may not be separate tournament tryouts. Depending on the number of teams in the division the final selections will be done by division codes in April. Selected players will then need to pay tournament fee on SAA website in May.
